This Husky hammer and nail puller set stands out as a strong value for basic home repair and demolition, especially with free shipping. The 20 ounce steel hammer is described as sturdy and balanced, with enough heft for demo work and a magnetic nail starter that adds usefulness. The included pry bar or nail puller makes the bundle feel complete for the price. The main caution is warranty confusion, since the listing suggests limited coverage even though the hammer tag shows lifetime warranty.
Shoppers wanting a hammer-and-puller combo, because the set includes both tools and feels like strong value at this price.
Homeowners doing demolition or rebuild work, because the steel handle performs well on a rotting pergola and feels better than fiberglass for demolition.
The hammer tag reportedly says "Lifetime Warranty," and the label on the received item confirms it. The product page's specifications may show otherwise, but the physical label on the tool indicates lifetime coverage.
Yes. The 20-oz hammer includes a magnetic nail starter, along with the 10" nail puller/pry bar. That makes it more useful for basic framing, demo, and household jobs than a plain hammer alone.
Availability can be limited: the combo was reported as not available for online or in-store purchase in some areas, and one online order was canceled within hours. It may be held for a holiday promotion and displayed later in center-aisle holiday boxes.
It performs well for demo work and rebuilding jobs, including tearing out a rotting pergola. The steel handle is described as better than fiberglass-handle hammers for demolition, with only a modest tradeoff in vibration damping.
This hammer is awesome. I bought it to replace a cheapo hammer to demo a fairly large rotting pergola and rebuild the same structure. This was great for the job. Much better than the fiberglass handle hammers which would not have been as good for demolition. I don't feel like I sacrificed too much in vibration dampening by going to steel handle over fiberglass.
Seems weird that it's not covered under the usual husky warranty. If they don't include this on that warranty... no thanks.
I'm pretty sure all husky hand tools have a lifetime warranty. If you try to exchange it a few years from now, how would they know this specific model wasn't covered?

Because it's says it's not under specifications. For these it says no. For something covered, you will see lifetime warranty. Look at this one for example: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky...-n/a-_-n/a
This deal is not available for online or in-store purchase for me. I visited my local Home Depot and there is no spot on the shelves for this combo. I was told it's part of a promotion for the upcoming holiday sales. So they would not sale this item to anyone until said floor sales start. So I left and placed the order online and it was canceled in less than 4 hrs.

I also checked the shelves and when I didn't see them, I remembered small Husky and Milwaukee "gift items" usually go on sale during the holidays, and they place them in front of the center aisles opposite the holiday stuff. They're in display boxes.

Just got mine. Tag says "Lifetime Warranty" on the hammer at least. I assume that applies to the nail puller as well which I believe was zip tied to the hammer (in my case zip ties broke in shipping).
