As pointed out by @badaj222, the combo is "hackable." The "free" tool has a portion of the combined value assigned to it that you could return and get the kit for ~245. Of course, the warning needs to be said - hacking these deals can get you put on a banned list for future returns.

Surprised there isn't any comments here yet. This appears to be "hackable" and you can get the kit for about $250 before taxes.

Probably because the new Gen3 M12 impact+hammerdrill sets only cost half this and are still generally overkill for what most people need around the house.

How do you get both the 3rd battery and a free tool? In my case seems like it's either or. For some reason even though its listed under attachment the hackzall tool changes the price to 569 while sawzall keeps it at 399, does anyone have experience in replacing the tool at the store (in this case sawzall for heckzall and just saying that the wrong saw was ordered)?

Yeah, the Kit shows $359 through the Exchange but jumps to $399 when I add the free tool to cart.
