100wh is the practical limit to bring on a plane. Between 101wh and 160wh you have to get special permission. Anything in excess of 160wh is prohibited.

Pretty good, I got one almost a year ago now. The most I've been able to get the bank to charge at was 65W using a 100W charger. Haven't had any problems getting it through TSA. Just wish it had been this price when I got it myself.

Anker's design team must be seething right now. Baseus has made cheaper versions of nearly their entire product lineup. I have some stuff from both brands and their quality seems comparable.

This Baseus 145W power bank stands out for fast laptop and handheld charging in a compact travel-friendly package. It can push strong output across multiple ports, recharges quickly with a MacBook charger, and works well with devices like a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, MSI Claw, and Dell laptops. The built-in display is useful when it works, though it can be very dim, and the unit is fairly heavy at 1.1 pounds. The 99.9Wh rating stays under the usual airline limit, making it a practical high-power backup for trips.

  • The power bank has reportedly passed TSA checks during travel.

    RGon

  • The unit can recharge a nearly dead MacBook Pro 14-inch to about 50% in roughly 20 minutes.

    JasonK2395

  • The power bank can charge multiple devices with a 145W total limit across ports.

    Budderbear

  • The display can show an estimated remaining time for connected devices during use.

    BenM3868

  • The on-screen display can be hard to read in brighter conditions or may fail after charging to 100%.

    fizzerfitsalboi

  • The power bank can be confiscated for lacking CCC rating when traveling to China.

    hd411Wiggler

  • The charging output can top out at 88W on a Dell laptop due to protocol compatibility.

    Mechageo

  • The power bank may not deliver full advertised capacity when the received unit appears used or underfilled.

interesting only reflects a $28 discount for me currently.
I had the same thing happen, but after selecting "use this payment method" the coupon increased to $34.99 prior to final checkout.

Is this brand any good? Is Baseus paying SD to have a different featured product, literally every day?
I've had this exact one for a few months and I love it. I also have a handful of their other portable chargers and they seem great to me, no issues so far

At the end of the day it's just China hitting multiple customer demographics. Competitive Illusion...

If traveling to China, I would suggest buying one locally? Or have a hotel staff order one to be delivered to hotel. The prices are comparable to ones on discount...just remember to buy name brands like Anker or Ugreen. My power bank was confiscated because it did not have the CCC rating. On my last trip the agent was nice enough to let me board with it.

I have multiple (5+) baseus chargers, 3x of their powerbanks, and 10+ of their charging cables. Brand has been rock solid and very reliable for me. Zero issues.

For what it's worth, my buddy and I both received a recall notice for the 65w version of their portable charger around the time the Steam Deck released and became a popular charger. Amazon was great to refund and take back my product before risk of explosion. Just a caution! I've gone back to other brand names I know.

I have had more problems with anker than baesus. The most recent anker, the usbc didn't even work on the wall charger. I bought a baesus because of that. The insignias were surprisingly acceptable as well. Ankers quality seems to have changed. They used to have good low cost chargers. Now not so much.

Works well enough. It tops out at 88 watts on my Dell work laptop because it "doesn't speak the Dell protocol". The laptop complains it's plugged into a slow charger but it does charge the laptop while in use.

Has Baseus improved their build quality. Had a portable charger that required recall due to overheating and possible fire.

Recently or in the past. I have the opposite experience. Nothing but good for Anker batteries. I have one baseus portable charger. And the one time I decided to try a different brand I get a recall one it.
