This Baseus 145W power bank stands out for fast laptop and handheld charging in a compact travel-friendly package. It can push strong output across multiple ports, recharges quickly with a MacBook charger, and works well with devices like a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, MSI Claw, and Dell laptops. The built-in display is useful when it works, though it can be very dim, and the unit is fairly heavy at 1.1 pounds. The 99.9Wh rating stays under the usual airline limit, making it a practical high-power backup for trips.

  • The power bank has reportedly passed TSA checks during travel.

  • The unit can recharge a nearly dead MacBook Pro 14-inch to about 50% in roughly 20 minutes.

  • The power bank can charge multiple devices with a 145W total limit across ports.

  • The display can show an estimated remaining time for connected devices during use.

  • The on-screen display can be hard to read in brighter conditions or may fail after charging to 100%.

  • The power bank can be confiscated for lacking CCC rating when traveling to China.

  • The charging output can top out at 88W on a Dell laptop due to protocol compatibility.

  • The power bank may not deliver full advertised capacity when the received unit appears used or underfilled.

Anker's design team must be seething right now. Baseus has made cheaper versions of nearly their entire product lineup. I have some stuff from both brands and their quality seems comparable.
That hasn't been my experience. I have had better luck with Anker products. I'm willing to pay a bit more for that. Baseus isn't bad though.

Not my experience. I've bought a few Baseus chargers and batteries bc for the price it was worth the risk. One MagSafe battery DOA, 4 port usb-c charger died after 3-months (never moved), they refunded my Amazon purchase. You get what you pay for.

I'd buy again if it wasn't business critical and price was low enough

I just got mine and I really like having a display that shows the estimated amount of time I have left using my device. I have been using mine for a Steamdeck and ROG Ally Z1 and have been quite happy with its performance.

100wh is the practical limit to bring on a plane. Between 101wh and 160wh you have to get special permission. Anything in excess of 160wh is prohibited.
Correction. This power bank is fine a fly with - TSA and airlines go by the labeled Wh, which is usually based on 3.7V, not the USB output.- So your 20,000 mAh power bank is typically rated around 74 Wh, well under the 100 Wh limit—no airline approval needed.

This does not work properly. Also they have some free add-ons that don't work. Seems like the whole store page is busted.

I received a recall safety notice for a past battery pack from this brand by Amazon. Not this specific model, but thanks for the reminder for me to take action to get my refund.

I'd steer clear of this. The one that I ordered as part of this deal only had around half of the advertised capacity and seemed to be used.

Pretty good, I got one almost a year ago now. The most I've been able to get the bank to charge at was 65W using a 100W charger. Haven't had any problems getting it through TSA. Just wish it had been this price when I got it myself.
If it were to get tagged, can it still be stored in a checked bag?

I'm assuming it could but I've always taken it with me carry-on.

This is available again for ~$47 after 10% off coupon on listing page, without any coupon.

Perhaps we'll see $40 for Black Friday? I'd pull trigger at that price.
