Knipex TwinGrip pliers are compact, versatile grabbers that shine for stripped fasteners, toilet nuts, and other awkward repair jobs. The 6 inch size is especially handy for a tool bag and for tech work, and the comfort handle version gets praised as easy to use. The main comparison point is price and size, since the Harbor Freight ICON alternative is close in cost but comes in 8 inch form with warranty perks. A strong specialty tool if you want the smaller Knipex format.
The TwinGrip pliers with comfort handles are described as super useful for everyday tasks like toilet nuts.
The 6-inch size is described as a great option for keeping in a bag for tech work.
The Knipex 6-inch TwinGrip pliers are reported to have worked well for emergency screw removal when an outlet screw was badly stripped.
The Harbor Freight ICON alternative is reported to include a warranty and same-day replacement, which can reduce risk versus the Knipex deal.
The deal price is described as not amazing, with the Harbor Freight ICON version also being coveted.
The deal is reported to have expired, so it may not be available at the listed price anymore.
Packaging details are described as confusing, even though the tool is reportedly the same across variants.
The Harbor Freight ICON option is described as offering an 8-inch copy but not a 6-inch copy, which limits direct size matching to the Knipex 6-inch deal.
