I'm not too attuned with the series but like, it doesn't strike me as a 300 bucks speaker?? someone check the historical price on this

I got this on the container store ymmv deal some time back. It's an excellent sounding and attractive speaker, and very powerful for its size. It is neither large nor small, and is heavy. I wouldn't consider traveling with it. I pretty much use it in my office only.

From what I can tell, it has never been below $200 on Amazon and averages $231.

This is a pretty low price on the "Middleton" .. which I guess is bigger than the small Marshall Bluetooth speaker but not quite a large as the Marshall "Emberton" which is roughly akin to the size of The Freedom Tower in New York City and is powered by 72 old Who Marshalls. Or something.

I thought the middleton was larger than the emberton.

Per rtings.com, the emberton weighs 1.5 pounds and the middleton weighs 4 pounds.
