To be clear on the language, it is a Lifetime Service Agreement, which is separate from whatever warranty the tool may have. If someone is going to go with Ridgid to take advantage of that, just be aware that you must register each serialized piece of equipment, including batteries and chargers, in order for them to be covered. You have 90 days from the date of purchase to do so. Without registration you are only covered by the warranty on the tool, usually three years from date of purchase.

Each tool is on low end of Milwaukee lineup but good pricing for the brand and what you get. Personally I would get Ridgid (if same set/price) for lifetime warranty which I have used to get new drill and batteries.

It's not a bad deal, but I think you have to ask yourself what you are trying to achieve with the tools included. I've never been a fan of the low end M18 stuff, which this is. It's not a bad set of tools necessarily, but at this price point I'd rather just go with M12. Lighter, you can get more bang for your buck, and often you can get brushless as well. I have a hobby woodshop and do pretty much all of my DIY housework with M12 and it's great. I only have M18 for an impact wrench and track saw, where I either needed the power or an m12 version doesn't exist.

Yes exactly that's the main differentiation, more power, longer runtimes, generally suited for more intense tasks.

Bought this set 3 years ago, all tools still working fine with moderate use (Little bit of work but mostly home stuff). If I had it to do over again I would have spent a bit more for the Fuel edition, but for the cost I have no real complaints. Also totally don't expect this but when I bought it Home Depot accidentally sent it twice (charged once) 😂
