Only mildly related, but if you do sign up, go into your Account page and turn off auto-renewal. They'll randomly do events to encourage people to turn on auto-renewal, and you can get free stuff. The last few times I did this, I got 2 pounds of candy, a freezer bag, and a nice big sturdy Costco tote.

Groupon is a scam...you will never get the $40 gift card and there's nothing you can do about it. Be warned...

I haven't had Costco in over 2 years. Pretty good deal, so I went for it. Don't forget to stack!
So the Costco deal for me was
$130 - $60 gift card - CB site $19.50 - 3% back on the Robinhood gold card
So for the membership it was
$48.98
Not as cheap as Sams club, but a good savings and I like their organic foods. Hope I get my membership bonus card!

Tried to send you a message but it said you needed to clear your space. So when you went to pick up your cards at the membership desk did they question why you had a different name? Because when I pick up my cards they usually ask for my name so they can look up the online membership. Also, did they ask you some random questions about where you live and you had to choose from multiple choice when you sign up online because I remember they did that last year. That was for online verification to see who I was.

Facing the same issue. In my case, Costco does not even recognize the membership which Groupon had sent. This is extremely troublesome to deal with Groupon since they point fingers at each other. Costco says the membership cannot refunded since the membership provided is not valid. Groupon says costco is the one who needs to refund 65$ down the drain. Will never buy via Groupon.
