Samsung's 75 inch Q8F looks like a strong value 4K QLED at around $800, with early discussion pointing to a solid feature set for the money. The price drew praise as a steal and even the lowest seen so far, especially for a 2025 model. The main knocks are its basic configuration and lack of Dolby Atmos support, and the deal itself appears to have disappeared after Amazon briefly matched Best Buy. Return handling and extended warranty costs also look worth checking before ordering.
Common Questions (4)
No Dolby Atmos support is noted for this model, and it is described as a basic configuration. At around $800, that omission is treated as less important than the overall feature set and price.
The $799.99 deal appears to have ended for some shoppers, with the listing later showing $997. It may have been a short Amazon match of Best Buy's limited-time sale.
Amazon shows a $110 extended warranty option, but it appears tied to buying the TV from Amazon. A Best Buy Geek Squad 5-year plan was also mentioned at $180, which is much higher.
Amazon may charge a heavy/bulky-item return pickup fee, and the TV may need to be new and unused for a return. That makes Best Buy's return process worth comparing before ordering a large TV.

Anyone have any experience with Amazon buying a large TV and needed to return?

He was sharing his experience. That is something he can't be wrong about. And as far as Samsung quality, I have no doubt many would disagree with you.
I used to be a huge Sony Fanboy that is until my top tier TV lasted all but 2 years.
Sony customer service stated that I should have not expected for the tv to last longer than that...
