Yeah, Metric doesn't work, but SAE does.

Eh, depends? There are cheaper wrench sets out there - harbor frieght, husky, etc. This is SAE, aka "Standard"....a "standard" designed by a bunch of automotive dudes around 1900. No one else really uses it in the world anymore (fractions aren't straightforward), since we've all moved onto metric. Well, except for the USA.SAE is good if you have a ton of antique fasteners -- such as wrenching on Grandpappy's rust bucket gas guzzler car. Anything made in the last 25 years is going to probably be metric. Nah, this is a pricey set for a starter. Get something cheaper. When you wear those out, then I'd say it's worth getting a replacement.
US aircrafts use SAE

Once again....the USA will use anything other than metric.
Don't be hating on SAE, it has its uses 🤷This is coming from a person that thinks metric is superior. On topic of these wrenches, I like them and for $50 they're great. I gifted this set to my co worker last year and it seems well made and feels good in hand. Just wish they went up to 1" size

Not really. I mean, maybe there's a USA manufacturer that's a holdout...but I have several made-in-usa vehicles that are exclusively metric.
