This Nimo 17.3 laptop stands out for its Ryzen 7 8745HS and Radeon 780M pairing, which should handle everyday use and light to mid level gaming without a dedicated graphics card. The aluminum build, 16GB memory, and serviceable design with extra M.2 space add appeal, and the screen is described as brighter than expected for a budget system. The main concerns are the lack of discrete graphics, loud fans under load, and a 60 hertz panel. Warranty support and seller messaging also raise trust questions, so it looks best for buyers who value performance and upgradability over polish.

Common Questions (5)

  • No dedicated GPU is listed; it uses the Ryzen 7 8745HS with Radeon 780M integrated graphics. That setup can handle low-to-mid settings gaming and lightweight titles, but it is not the same as a discrete gaming GPU.

  • The chassis is reported as aluminum and feels solid rather than flimsy. A similar Nimo model was described as looking good and working perfectly, though one concern raised is that the brand's build quality and support can be inconsistent.

  • Warranty support may be difficult to track down, and one review noted that an Amazon purchase from an authorized reseller came with a full 2-year warranty. If warranty coverage matters, the seller and reseller status should be checked carefully.

  • Yes. The Ryzen 7 8745HS and Radeon 780M pairing is strong enough for low-to-mid settings gaming, with examples like playable Battlefield V on low, around 120 fps in Roblox, and maxed-out Left 4 Dead.

  • Not always. Clicking through has shown a higher price of $829 instead of the advertised $498, so the checkout price should be verified before buying.

I have one, R9 version, looks good, works perfectly fine, and build quality seems good. I swear it's aluminum.

This brand is super shady. They sell "gaming" laptops without a dedicated graphics card. I wouldn't trust a company like that. Who else knows what that are lying/stretching the truth about.

Build quality is also not very good. The price is right though.

I wiped the drive and installed Windows from my own Microsoft-downloaded USB. I do that with all prebuilt PCs I buy. No sense in taking a risk, and also get rid of bloatware that way, if any.

Build quality seems good to me, seems like all aluminum. Not sure how much better it could be for the prices. The thing that sucks is no dedicated graphics card. But the processor and amount of memory are great.

Anyone know of an addon that excludes staff posts from view? This self-promotional garbage makes me want to start my own site.

Probably because of the chipset and the GPU pair can handle low-to-mid-quality gaming without the need for a dedicated GPU.
