Battery cycle

To check the battery cycle count on your MacBook Pro, hold down the Option key, click the Apple menu (), and select System Information. Then, go to Hardware > Power and look for "Cycle Count" under Health Information. Alternatively, for newer macOS versions, you can go to System Settings > General > About > System Report > Power and find the cycle count there.

For that small of a difference now, I would just wait for BF25. May be better pricing on m5 one and then the difference will be even smaller. We are less than a month away

m5 only comes in a 10 core cpu 10 core gpu right now and only on the 14" Macbook Pro. Comparing those two base model 10 core CPUs, the m5 is roughly 20% faster.

Agree - that's a good price for anyone that wants new and has a Microcenter in their area. Best Buy will match Microcenter if you are in the same state as one of their stores by chatting with a rep on their website. In store is maybe a bit more a YMMV if Microcenter is not in your local area.
