Samsung's QN90D 85 inch is drawing attention as a bright, colorful mini LED TV that shines in living rooms, sports, and gaming. The picture quality gets strong praise for deep blacks, fast response, and solid standard high definition performance, and the 85 inch size feels like a major upgrade. The standout deal is the pickup price around $999 to $1200, often with a free five year Allstate warranty, though pricing varies a lot by store and delivery jumps sharply. The main drawback is the size and weight, since the box is huge and awkward to move. A strong value if local pickup is available.
bright-room or living-room TV shoppers because multiple commenters call it a "best bright-room/living room TV" and say it's "amazing" once it's on the wall.
people who can handle pickup logistics (or already have a way to move a heavy 85-inch) because several buyers say pickup pricing is the real deal (around $999-$1200) but you may need a truck or help to avoid the hassle.
Sam's Club members who want to compare warranty-included pricing because commenters report the 5-year Allstate protection shows as free for members (sometimes after deselecting at checkout) and that the $999.91 price can include it.
85-inch upgraders who already have a larger TV setup planned because one commenter says moving from a 75" to an 85" is doable (they planned to relocate a 75" to another room) and another says this price would have forced a major living room redesign if they didn't already have space.
buyers deciding between this Samsung and a competing model like the TCL QM7K because one commenter says the $999.91 price "settled my decision" between the two.
people who are relying on a specific store's online price because multiple commenters say pricing and availability vary by location (e.g., one store shows $1399 for pickup, others show $999 or $1299.91, and some locations are sold out).
buyers who want guaranteed in-stock pickup nearby because several commenters report pickup availability can be zero/out of stock even when the deal exists online, forcing them to pay more or cancel.
people who need delivery at the deal price because commenters report delivery can jump the total to around $1800-$1899.91, making the $999-$1200 pickup deal much less compelling.
shoppers who can't manage the physical weight/awkward handling because commenters warn the 85-inch is over 100 lb (and possibly ~150 lb) and "borderline impossible" to carry even with pickup.
buyers who require Dolby Vision for streaming because one commenter flags "HDR10+ only" and says they'd be "all over this" if it had Dolby Vision (implying it could be a dealbreaker for DV-focused viewers).
