Maybe wait until Black Friday for discount. It was less than $500 two week ago. Paid $479 plus tax with the 100W solar panels.

I don't think the 2000 has ever gone that low, you're probably talking about the 1000, it's commonly on sale for $400ish plus the $100 100w panel you got.

Normally the pair the 2000 with 200w solar panels.

I think you're right about that. I bought the 1000 series with 100 watt solar panel for around $500 a few weeks ago during Prime Days.

Three FYI about this. First is that at the lowest setting, you can hear it, its a low pitched hum. So if you wanting to use it in your room, its audible. Note that the 1000v2 is dead quiet. Second is that in UPS mode, it cycles the battery. So it is not a true UPS that only uses battery when main power is dead. Third is that a number of people have commented that if you are in UPS mode with a low powered output, you may get a F6 inverter error. I can confirm that. While it did go away overnight, I was not able to reproduce it.

There are 2 choices under charging setttings, quiet charging mode and fast charging mode. Lowest = quiet charging mode
