I grabbed the discounted 1000 lbs in particular the 36" I like to have the strength, but balance I grabbed 600lb multiple lengths. Thanks OP. Was time to refresh some older ones on last legs.

Definitely a better deal, this would be $43.92 based on buying them individually. Plus, this qualifies for a military discount, whereas the sale items do not. FYI, for me this was $38 before discount.

Doesn't look like these can be reversed to act as spreader bars, is that correct? I need one of those, 30" or wider, and the 36" here would be great for $18 if that were possible.

These are quite a lot more than Pittsburgh's at HF. I know quality and toughness are not the same, but for a light DIYer, HF's are probably good enough.

I have the PITTSBURGH 6" bar clamp from HF and I would not recommend it. Even at light duty, the clamp flexes since the jaws are made of a composite fiber reinforced plastic material. I'm going with the Jorgensen.

Not a wood worker by any means, just a home diy guy and these jorgensen clamps are awesome. Used them to straight out a header on a swing beam i put together for the kids. Header was bent in 2 different directions and clamps helped me square it up with the primary beam before affixing. Also used these jorgensen clamps to square up framing. The steel rod in it is nice as it also acts as a straight edge when clamping things together. 10/10 would recommend having these on hand if you ever do diy stuff, dont know when you would need them but once you do they are great.
