GW has great customer service. I had a refurb 80v weed whacker, that came defective (bad switch or something internal). 10 mins of troubleshooting with human customer service and they mailed me out a complete new set, so I ended up with an extra battery and charger for my trouble.

I got this same blower that had the bonus 4a battery last time, it's great.

I got one and works great! Looks brand new and it's performance is on par with my dewalt flexvolt unit, the Greenworks is actually slightly quieter while pushing same air volume

A full hour on a blower is amazing life for a single 4ah battery

Bought a fee weeks ago for 40 more. Perfect shape and no regrets other than not waiting.

This is pretty good deal. Last week only I ordered this one with just 2.5Ah battery alone for $117 which just got delivered. Now I'm kicking myself for not waiting for this. Since this is all renewed, I guess we can't return it either.

Have had this (2ah tho) refurbished for like 3 months without any issue. Also bought a refurb snow shovel 80v $140 just got in the mail. Also very happy with their dedicated 80v edger.

This actually looks pretty good. AFAIK this is the highest cfm and mph version of the 80v product. 4ah battery worth this much if 90%+.Though, it is a little funny that it has a brushless 'notor' in one of the spec pics
How to test these batteries. I have a multimeter but I don't see any straight forward video on how to test.

They must have a ton of these. This is the 3rd or 4th promo. I bought 3 when they offered with both the 2.5Ah and 4Ah batteries. Two were brand new looking with the newer style batteries, one was a bit worn with the older batteries.

I sold one and kept the 4Ah batts for my mower.
Was it the same price?

I have both the prev gen handheld and the backpack. If you are blowing random leaves or clearing a porch the handheld is great. If you are blow leaves out from a yard you'll want a backpack ver. Your wrist will thank you. With so much force on these handheld blowers your wrist is forced to keep it in position on turbo which I use ALOT, it's fun but you'll feel the fatigue pretty quickly.

I'm staying away from these refurbished units. Anyone have any experience with them?

A bit more, ~$140 with tax, as I recall.

SDNEWSLETTER15 seems to still work. Maybe you have a typo?

I got one earlier this year. It was more used than refurbished. Still had mud on it from the previous owner.
Same. Mine was pretty dusty and had some superficial scratches, but has been working great.

Greenworks recommends against it. They stated that in a reply to one negative review where the user complained about having electrical issues after it sucked in snow when it was used to blow snow. These are really not designed for snow blowing, sort of use at your own risk situation.

Bought one a couple months back with the extra 2.5 battery. I love it. Mine didn't have the strap with it . They're about $20-$30 on Greenworks website.
I think they have so many of these returns due to people not realizing how heavy they are compared to the little 18v ones old people are using in their yards. Mine came as new and I don't mind the extra weight.
