T-Mobile rejected my rebate from signing up over the summer and I had to call them twice to get them to pay it out. The first time they said they would resubmit it on their end and to wait 2 more weeks, and then the second time they said there was a glitch and they would apply account credit. Seemed a little shady, because the same thing happened to a friend who signed up a couple weeks after us.

I got Amp plan for $45/month about 3 months ago. I got my $300 already but when i check in the app to downgrade, the current plans are more expensive. Even the Rely plan is more expensive than the Amp plan i have for $45
Rely Plan is $35/month with a voice line. I signed up for $30/month in September, waiting for my $200 gift card.

T-mobile is a master of not paying these out. They'll advertise the prepaid cards but good luck ever getting it.

I did the T-Mobile ISP shuffle last year. I tried it for a month in an area that got 4-5 bars connectivity. The problem is during peak times. I could pull anywhere upwards to 500mbps, but my latency was all over the place. It made gaming completely unbearable - plus the T Mo gateway will create a Double NAT if you plan to use your own existing network.

I returned it and sadly went back to Spectrum. And I despise Spectrum.

I never received mine for the deal I did in summer. They told me rebate was rejected because the plan was not eligible. If I knew they would flat out lie then I would have taken screenshots of every step but lesson learned here to not to trust tmobile. Anyway, they did "made an exception " by adding the credits to my account and then using that to give me rebate.

as in $300 + $200???if service blows, am I free to keep gift cards and dump service after 2 months?
They have stated processing time on GC is 12 weeks, I am just slightly over that and yet to receive.

So to answer your question no, you will be out minimum 3 months, and could be 4-5 depending on processing speed.

Make sure you check your status before the two weeks is up to see if they denied you for unjust reasons so you can re-apply again. They will do everything they can to not send you the money even if you fill out everything correctly online.

Did this promo earlier in the year. I swear they were throttling me at times like they were trying to get me to drop them before I got the $300. Stuck it out, got my money and speeds have been solid ever since.
How has connection been? I work from home and sometimes my kids are watching YouTube or playing on the PS5. And I have a bunch of cameras and Smart appliances in my house. Would you recommend this?

Got the same deal a while back.
The internet speed was so bad, so I returned it within a few weeks. But t mobile still sent me the gift card and an Alexa device.
