We purchase one awhile back during the $25 promo. It's technically registered to my home address, but we have it at our vacation home and it hasn't been any issue with the location difference.
But now thinking I want to have one from my home as my current internet is getting expensive and unreliable.

I was with them for more than a decade, and they became increasingly difficult to deal with if there were any problems. Most of their 'support' is overseas with difficult to understand accents. They consistently overcharged and underdelivered in every possible way.
I finally kicked them to the curb when despite endless calls to support and corporate, they just couldn't give me access online to my account. Excuse after stupid excuse, but no access, and thus no streaming deals, no way to change plans, get a new phone, NOTHING.
They got real responsive for about a minute when I called to get a PIN to port my number out. Just an awful outfit to deal with. Be cautious.

This is the game we all have to play to keep costs down. Jump around to different wireless carriers to take advantage of all the home internet promos. I stick to Verizon FIOS for $55/month since it's available in my area and I need the same 300 download/upload, but if you're on a tight budget, gotta play the game
