Home depot seems to be clearancing off the gozney dome (gen 1). Found this in central MA.

There seems to be a gen 2 around the corner, so I assume this is why these are being marked down.

The Dome S1 Liquid Propane is landing at steep clearance prices, with in store finds from $300 demo units to $500 new, plus occasional stand and peel bundles. It is a propane only Gozney oven, and the comments focus on its premium build and pizza party appeal rather than wood firing. The stand gets mixed attention, with some calling it stable and others preferring a higher setup for easier launching and turning. A useful deal if you can find local stock and the right accessories.

  • Some buyers secured steep discounts, including a $450 purchase due to a scratch and a $300 demo floor model deal.

  • The Dome S1 Liquid Propane oven is designed for propane-only use, which helps avoid warranty issues from burning wood.

    JonGoku

  • Liquid propane works by evaporating from pressurized liquid into gas during cooking, and tank movement can cause noticeable sloshing.

    hijakk

  • Home Depot inventory updates quickly, and avoiding a trip after an out-of-stock display can save time.

    qualm_recognition

  • The stand and oven setup may feel less stable to some buyers, and raising the oven can improve ergonomics for longer pizza sessions.

    JonGokuJonGoku

  • Using wood in the S1 can void the warranty, so the oven requires propane-only operation.

    JonGoku

  • The propane tank can slosh when moved, which can add handling friction during setup and transport.

    hijakk

  • Local availability can vary widely, with some Home Depots showing only the Arc XL at full price while the Dome deal is not present.

I got 1 store 500$ , not a bad deal . It's a shame the stand is 350$ , did not find that clearance. I've been wanting the traeger for years (not the table top) on the stand, I've heard of clearance pricing on it but I haven't found it personally. I'd get one of these if I can get a deal on the stand.
I had this lying around and it fit perfectly. Paid $20 for it in a deal way back when. Its 40 now.

You do you, but honestly this feels like an equivalent to "Look mom, no hands!". If it were me I'd look for something a bit more stable. Also if you have the option or capability, having the oven higher up with the oven floor at elbow to shoulder height will greatly improve the ergonomics of baking especially if you are making several at a time.

Cheers!

That stand is listed as holding 350lbs. Its stable. No wobble or shake when launching or turning pizzas. Unless a drunk crashed into it its not goin anywhere. I was just providing a solution. I make pizza every day. It works for me. Its at elbow height. Ill measure and give a height of the stone floor but im outta town atm. I may bump it up a hair but thats an easy solution.

What does "look mom no hands" mean? Did u even buy the oven?

photo is my first pizza in the dome
u keep worrying about aesthetics and ill keep working towards my 10,000th bake.

I'm talking physics not aesthetics. The weight carrying capacity of the workmate is it's ability to withstand weight without breaking, and has nothing to do with it's ability to not tip over. If you are satisfied with the stability of your setup, and confident in it enough to hold your $500+ investment, then good for you.

Although I looked, unfortunately I could not find this deal locally, so no I did not buy it. I do have an Ooni 16 though, and host pizza parties fairly often. My comment regarding having the oven higher up, was based on a recent change I made to my setup that I felt made a significant difference. After 2-3 hours on your feet, not having to bend over to check the bake and work the oven is a definite plus.

And for what it's worth, nice pie! I'd eat that. worship

Just picked up two of these: One brand new for $600 and one demo floor model for $300.
Also got two stands for $175 total ($87.50 each) and two peels for free.
Only one of this SKU remaining in the country (Vauxhall, NJ) according to Rebel Savings.
