was looking for a tcl 85 / 98 " qled / mini led with local dimming. but this seems tempting at this price point.
I expect to pay 300-400 more for mini led with dimming around bf.
any thoughts folks.

This model does not have local dimming. I believe only the QM series has the local dimming for TCL

Is this the cheapest 85" TV 120Hz+ you can get? Price seems really good, girlfriend and I were looking to upgrade from our small 55". She won't care nor even know about contrast differences for movies and stuff, while I'd just be using it to watch sports mainly as I do my gaming on an OLED monitor
