For a similar effect you might be able to find a skmei (a clone brand that seems to only clone Casio) and perform a swap. They've risen a little in price since I did it but it's the holiday season so you might be able to find them cheaper now.

I had gotten a stainless steel one and a black metal one to be able to give myself some options. The metal isn't top tier but it gives me options and I ended up wearing the skmei as a beat-up watch on the rubber Casio strap.

If you have a white pencil eraser around, you can actually use it to carefully remove any text you might not want. Like the stuff on the outside or if you open the watch you can remove some of the inside text to make the watch face more uncluttered.

I bought this same watch in 2019 for $11.17. It's still running on the original battery. Would I spend $20 on it now? No — but it's definitely worth $11.

I received this watch(black) a couple days ago. Been wearing it everyday. What a beautiful time piece. I love the hourly beep feature and the time zones. I know there's mods out there, but I think it looks great as it is and with its black case/strap. The top right corner displays alarm and other misc is hideous and I might mod it to permanently display my name on that spot. Anyone know how to do that please let me know.
