  • To receive a Digital Costco Shop Card, you must provide a valid email address and set up auto renewal of your Costco membership on a Visa credit/debit card or Mastercard debit card at the time of sign-up. If you elect not to enroll in auto renewal at the time of sign-up, incentives will not be owed.
  • Valid only for members whose memberships (Primary and Affiliate) expired between August 2024 and May 2025.
  • Valid only for nonmembers for their first year of membership. Not valid for upgrade or renewal of an existing membership.
  • This promotion expires November 30, 2025 and may not be combined with any other promotion.
  • Digital Costco Shop Card will be emailed to the email address provided by the Primary Member at time of sign-up within 2 weeks after successful sign-up and enrollment in auto renewal.
  • A Costco Gold Star Membership is $65 a year. An Executive Membership is an additional $65 upgrade fee a year. Each membership includes one free Affiliate Card.

The $150 is referring to an Executive member benefit for Costco SameDay delivery by Instacart. Costco Executive members get $10 off one $150+ SameDay order every month.

Let's separate out that part of the fine print (emphasis mine):

i'm letting both my Costco and BJ's memberships expire today. Won't rejoin unless there's another deal later.

Gah...I was going to do this and I see mine expired July 31, 2024. Just missed out. And it hasn't been 18 months to do one of the other deals, so looks like I'm screwed and have to pony up for full price.

My membership expired between August 2024 - May 2025. when i click on the link and try to renew the membership i don't see any option for gift card. so you might have to receive the mailer.

Been a Costco member for over 25 years. I have let my membership lapse several times. Not once have I ever been offered any renewal promo.

Oh man! Time travel isn't invented just yet else this would be Pheomenal deal ! Go back to 2010 or whenever I became Costco member and just plan the yearly renewals such that it expire around April. Then do a second time travel to not renew it this year in April.
