Community Reviews
The ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 stands out as a compact work laptop with a strong keyboard, upward firing speakers, built in RJ 45 Ethernet, and a sharp 2.8K OLED adaptive refresh display. The 64GB memory and 1TB storage feel generous for Windows 11 and future heavier software, even if that much RAM is more than most workloads need today. The main drawbacks are the 52Wh battery, which is called out as the weak point, and the OLED panel, which can mean more flicker, burn in risk, and shorter battery life than the low power LCD option. It is a capable portable workstation if the screen and battery tradeoffs fit your use.
A WWAN card can provide plug-and-play instant internet when the system is WWAN-ready with antennas installed.
The laptop includes a built-in RJ-45 Ethernet jack for wired connectivity without adapters.
The ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 offers an upgrade path with DDR5 SODIMM memory slots for later changes.
The display guidance favors non-OLED, non-touch low-power screens for long PC sessions to reduce PWM-related eye strain.
The battery capacity is criticized as only about 52Wh, which limits runtime for daily use.
WWAN after-market upgrades may be a poor idea because antennas and heat sinks are integrated into WWAN-ready systems.
The OLED display approach can involve PWM dimming and burn-in concerns for static desktop use.
The BUYMORELENOVO coupon reportedly fails as invalid, and the final price can still show $1,129.

Arguably this screen is hands down better than macpros I'm currently using.
If anyone purchases a WWAN card it will set you back about $250-300ish but worth it!!! (Unless you find a great deal on one🤣)
I was seeing about 2.5-3hrs of battery under different/heavy usage with full brightness And WWAN on (and only charged to 80%). As everyone has mentioned the battery is the Achilles heel but definitely manageable if charging to 100% and utilizing power saving measures
