Be sure to use blue thread lock on the 4 screws. I also added lights controlled by app. Apply with 3M Hvd tape

I bought this a couple weeks ago . (Last deal $108)It has eco mode, Drive mode and sport mode. Eco will limit you to 7mph. Perfect for kids. You can feel every bump on these. No suspension, ok If youre using mainly on flat pavements.

Great thanks! What's considered a better bang for buck brand/option with features such as basic suspension?

Appreciated you

For what it's worth, the LP80's I got for my kids had blue threadlock on those bolts already. No issues with loosening.

Depends on age and size of kids but I got my kids LP80's (2x the battery as these LP60's) and I'd recommend that for kids. Mine are 10 and 13 and the 350w motor is way more than enough for them. They can go up pretty steep hills with no problems. At 215lbs I can't go up my driveway on them. I have an ESMAX for me (6'5" adult) and it's way overkill for a kid. I'm sure they'd love it, but it's easier to not have to deal with air filled tires and the suspension is not adjustable and pretty stiff even for me so likely not helpful for a kid. Also note that the ESMAX is significantly bigger (taller, longer, and heavier).

I think the LP80 is the best bang for the buck. You will not get the stated range on these and batteries degrade so having 2x the battery capacity is well well worth the small price delta. If you really want suspension, the Aovopro LPMAX with solid tires and the Aovopro ESMAX with air filled tires both have suspension and larger 500w motors so even at 215lbs I can get it to the full 22mph easy and it's not blazing fast up hills but can make it. These are also a lot bigger than the LP80 though (the handle bars are 40" above the deck compared to 37" on the Ladpeds). Let me know if you have any other questions, I have the ESMAX and 2 LP80's!

Amazing info! We live in a suuuuper hilly area and my 8y/o is getting too heavy for the back of our ebike. So we know one of these is on the horizon, these Aovopro's look so sweet, fingers crossed they have a BF deal!

For sure. It's pretty hilly around us as well. For kids, the impact on performance due to their light weight is really minimal. My kids can start from a stop on their 350W LP80s on the hill we live on and accelerate to full speed no problem. If I try that on the LP80, it won't even start moving. They can also ride straight up our steep driveway and I can't even do that on the 500W ESMAX. So yeah, weight really matters on these for hills. Of course you can always give it a leg kick to help too--we don't have to be fully lazy :-).

Are the brakes adequate? I have a e-bike from a $99 deal years ago (Hover1 Dynamo) that has e brakes and it is just barely good enough.

I don't have any LP60's but do have LP80's which are the same with larger battery and the brakes are strong. Maybe a little too strong at first, you have to get used to it. In one of the apps I've seen you can adjust the brake aggressiveness.

I see this one for $146. You should be able to apply a coupon code, whatever one you can find here for similar Ladped listings, and get for $25 or so less also. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mP7e4it
