I purchased one for my older ryzen 5700 laptop that has been acting weird. I think it's the ssd. Just a light gaming and web surfing kitchen laptop.. This will do fine.

It will be fine. Most cheaper ssds don't have dram cache anymore. Even expensive ones don't as often sadly.

Any predictions for the black Friday price? I'm running out of space on my OS drive, but can wait for some time. It was $117 on Amazon a week ago. I would rather order from Amazon since Walmart is a pita to return.

You mean because you'd have to... go to Walmart?

Yes, twice. To pick up and return. And for me it's a 30 min drive one way.

It looks like free shipping, so just one trip if you return it

This looks like the best deal right now on a brand name 2TB SSD. Reasonably well preforming and TLC.
