1947 was the year the OSS was turned into the CIA, amongst many other things, but you could use other dates like 1865 or 1902. It doesnt really matter much actually, other than reading old books.People were much smarter say, 100 hundred years ago and the books written weren't done so to teach a coddled population.Many presume that because something is recent or new that it is more advanced. Economics would be included.Cheers
