I got a warning on another deal for mentioning a Chinese website that sells brushless esc and brushless motors. That said, great first truck for a kid. Teach them to roll into the throttle and not slam the brakes and the dif will last longer.

IMO the MJX 16208 from the Chinese website is a better truck and bang for your buck..You just gotta get it on sale from $60-70...OP keep the RC deals coming..

Yup. MJX are great. I've posted those AE deals and then people flame me for posting Chinese junk or vote down for the same reason. I posted this for people who aren't comfortable purchasing from AE or aren't convinced MJX is any good. The Arrma budget lines are good for beginners and that's what I got my son a couple years ago and it's still going strong. He just hit the age where I was comfortable enough to upgrade his batteries to LiPo.

Only thing about the MJX 1/14s is hard to find quality servo replacement at least for me.
