It's because the layers separated and you rolled out 1 layer ahead of the other. Try it next time by doing the same thing again and the cut lines will align. They're punched at the same time, so they can't actually misalign them at the factory.

I have used the Sam's Club brand for years. I bought the Costco Kirkland brand to try it out and switch right back to Member's Mark. Much softer!

That reminds me of the old East German joke.

Why was the toilet paper in East Germany so rough? So that even the last ass turns red. LOL

I have bidets. This stuff still sucks when the Ultra-soft is only a couple bucks more per pack, and a pack lasts like a year when you have a bidet. Drying with something that doesn't feel like sandpaper is worth a couple dollars a year. The ultra-soft also regularly goes on sale for near this price.

This isn't Scotts TP, which is indeed industrial-grade sandpaper and wafer thin.

There's nothing wrong with this TP, and the rolls are significantly larger and wider then the average store brands.
