This is a compact digital charcoal grill and smoker that stands out for smoking performance and a steep in store clearance price around $149. The app and store inventory checks can help locate remaining display or boxed units, and some pickups included extra discounts or a $20 two year protection plan. The main caveats are that many units are floor models or preassembled, sometimes stored outside, and assembly or missing parts can be an issue. It also needs to be kept clean when running hot to avoid grease fires, so it is best for shoppers comfortable inspecting the unit closely.
In-store bargain hunters who can inspect stock in person, because clearance units may be hidden outside, on the floor, or in the garden center.
Backyard cooks who want a charcoal smoker, because it works well for smoking and can handle layered charcoal with wood chunks.
Shoppers who need a compact grill that fits in an SUV, because the side shelf can be removed to make it 43 inches wide.
Owners who want a low-cost protection plan, because the 2-year warranty was reported at only $20.
Buyers expecting a pristine display unit, because some floor models were stored outside, wet, dented, or missing the drip pan.
Grillers who want a ready-to-use unit, because assembled floor models can be incomplete, missing parts, or assembled incorrectly.
People who leave grease buildup between cooks, because it can start a grease fire quickly when the heat is cranked up.

However....
Since it was such a PITA when I was in HD to pick up some stuff for the innagural cook I decided to check out the assembled grills. Well NONE of them was assembled correctly and complete. I actually talked a couple out of buying one for various reasons.
Go through your assembly manual carefully and check all the parts.
One thing about putting a grill together is you learn a lot about it. I walked into my local HD and went straight to some of the the most PITA areas and started checking parts and assembly. I found multiple mistakes and omissions on the prebuilt grills.
I made a couple of mistakes when assembling my grill and I found multiple mistakes in the assembly instructions. Two off the top of my head were a mislabeled part and one where the assembly instructions defied the laws of physics.
Please, please, please, in the name of all that is holy please check your grill carefully. I noticed a missing washer on the wheel assembly. I noticed four missing pieces of insulation. I noticed a missing power cord.
It was comical and sad at the same time.
The grill is complex and has so many parts. A pain for you to put together, but a literally playground for minimum wage people to lose or just carelessly omit parts.

For those looking for a decent cover, I can confirm the WeatherTuff 58" cover fits well with the shelf down. Just the right height too. It is available on Woot right now for $27. Seems really good quality and Amazon reviews are glowing.
