Samsung's S90F OLED is drawing attention as a bright, sharp 4K TV that can look excellent with the right settings, especially in AI mode and with a blue light filter. The panel is WOLED, and the 77 inch price has been landing in a strong range, with extra savings sometimes available through the Samsung app, chat support, or education pricing. The main tradeoffs are OLED's weaker SDR brightness, no Dolby Vision, and reports of flimsy stand quality or shipping marks. Free return protection is limited unless the TV is defective, though chat has sometimes unlocked a free two year warranty. A solid value if you want Samsung OLED performance without paying flagship money.

  • Chat support can apply an extra $100 discount and lower the pre-tax total to $1089.

  • Chat can enable a free 2-year warranty extension when requested during checkout.

  • The education discount pricing can reduce the 77-inch model to $1799.99.

  • The TV can look excellent with optimized settings using AI mode and a blue light filter.

  • The OLED panel can have SDR brightness as a downside compared with other display types.

  • The TV can miss Dolby Vision support, which may affect everyday viewing color performance.

  • The seller does not offer free returns unless the TV is defective.

  • Some units can arrive with protective film peeling and visible marks, requiring customer support for a replacement.

If you open a chat and ask a few questions, they should offer you a free warranty extension. They will generally set up a new cart, which I believe may make you ineligible for cash back through certain cash back sites.

77" is now set up in the living room - replaced a 65" QLED. It's a big black rectangle in the corner (not quite the obelisk from 2001). Very nice picture when it's on. Unfortunately the protective film was partly peeled away from the top-left corner and there are a few marks. Shipped from Best Buy who subsequently called and asked how the delivery went. I mentioned the screen marks and was told I'd have to contact CS to get a replacement TV. I would much rather they send me a cleaning kit - it's one big TV and took quite a while to unpack and set up. Regarding quality, RTings mentioned build quality not being as good as LG. I have to say that the stand is kinda flimsy compared to the one on my previous Sammy QLED. It will probably hold up but I may get something with a VESA mount...

Most earlier oleds were only dark room tvs but not that has changed as they are bright enough to handle decent light but still not what mini led can handle. This is a great tv but missing Dolby vision with best looking color volume in store demo mode not sure how much it will carry to everyday viewing. Another catch is the blacks in ambient light will look charcoal grey or purplish but would like in lg c5 would be fine so personally I am leaning towards c5 or just go with TCL qm7k or 8k. For 65 inch i can get samsung for 1163 with tax and 2 year warranty and c5 for 1200 with soundbar, speaker, mount, wall mounting from partner store. If I have to spend close to 1k for TCL I may just buy lg c5 I am thinking...

Has anyone been able to get a 4 year warranty for free? I was only able to get a 2 year warranty, even after 3 separate chat sessions.

It did not allow stacking $100 app discount with warranty promo codeThe total after all discounts shows $1159 , not $1089. When did you place your order ?

Is everyone creating a new account with EDP discount every time for the $100 app offer? I used mine last year on a phone. Is it possible to get the discount with the same account?
