Community Reviews

This Target LEGO drop centers on solid discounts across Star Wars, Friends, and City sets, with the Darth Vader Helmet and other display builds drawing the most attention. The LEGO City Construction Excavator Digger stands out for its rotating 360 degree cab, ground gripping tracks, accessories, and Builder app instructions, while the Friends Beekeepers House and Flower Garden and Friendship Movie Night add cheaper display and play options. The main snag is Target pricing instability, with discounts appearing on the page but disappearing in cart, items going out of stock, and some orders getting canceled for technical issues. A decent haul if you can catch the price while it is actually live.

Common Questions (4)

  • Yes. The discount can show on the item page but disappear in cart and checkout, leaving the set at full price. In some cases the price later started working again.

    HiImDaisynilknarfOctaneZnilknarf

  • No. Amazon does not price match this kind of Target pricing, so waiting for an Amazon match is not a workable strategy.

    dandiego

  • At $38.40, it is about 27% off LEGO's $70 MSRP, which is still a solid discount for the Darth Vader Helmet set.

    Televiised

  • Some stock was bought early by shoppers expecting to price match once the deal went live, which left items like Jazz Club and Boutique Hotel sold out before the discount appeared.

Is Target glitching? Some of these items are still in stock and available for shipping, but the price jumped

The 3 sets I ordered have all increased in price since I placed the order. That's odd.

Target is definitely glitching. I'm trying to order a set that shows the discount on the item page, but when I add it to cart, its at full price. The price never reduces through the checkout process.

Now the discount isn't showing up on the item page any longer?

Have four people that are on their own Target accounts, but connected using my Red Card with Target's blessing. Target canceled all but one order of the four for the Darth Vader Lego Helmet, stating "technical issue". Last time I order on Target, I'll just straight up order through Amazon. A little peeved, we needed one for each kid.

Lego official site has MSRP at $70, so it's about 27% off which is still a decent price.
