Keep in mind that if you buy a 3KW unit, you will get 30% credit from the Solar tax credit (assuming you will owe taxes to the US government). So if you bu a 3KW unit at let's say $1000 then you will get $300 as credit. The Pecron E3600LFP cost $999 while the F3000LFP costs $859 (and even cheaper at Wellbots with discount code PECRON13 = $782 plus taxes). If you don't mind owning a big unit then 3KW is a better deal than a 2KW unit. So $782 minus 30% tax credit = $547.
