Good price
Reminder that this cam is not eligible for CamPlus Lite- so no cloud recordings or person detection without a subscription.
You still can record to local SD card and remotely access that for free.

personally I have a bunch of Wyze stuff and was pretty happy with it, but if I were starting over I'd go with Eufy or TP-Link for devices that don't require subscriptions for fairly basic functions.

had (still have) 10 wyze, but flipped to tp-link when the open box went on sale for ~8 a cam. Bought ~10 tp-link, swapped all the wyze out, then put the wyze in backup non-critical spots. TP-link was just better, cheaper, and notifications and such were not locked behind payment!

I couldn't get the $30 off coupon to work on the Duo Cam Pan. I clipped it, but when I went to check out the coupon did not apply. When I went back to the product page, the $30 coupon was no longer there. I don't know if it was a glitch.

What model tp-links did you go with?

I have two wyze cams. I don't like the system at all. The alerts are trash, I paid for cam plus but it would not alert me when actual humans came to my door, but every car that drove past my house it told me about that. I axed my cam plus service. Also my wyze cams stopped working with tinycam and now these are pretty much useless unless I want live look at my cat sitting on my couch.

$30 coupon doesn't appear after sign-in for the duo cam. $15 only applies to white or gray color cam v4.

I wonder if they pulled it. I was able to check out with it for the duo cam. Maybe it was an error.

Also have a ton of Wyze things since their beginning. Slowly switching over to Eufy. At this point Wyze should just give their cams away and charge monthly for their use. I despise subscriptions and try my hardest to stay away from them.

Wyze is trash now. The app is barely usable.

I have both Wyze and TP-Link and one thing I do like more about the Wyze app is that it can concurrently play multiple camera streams by default when I load the app. The TP-link one requires me to hit play on each camera, which isn't always obvious.

Also, because I have my cameras on a separate IOT network, the TP link video streams timeout so I can't just leave it on while I'm washing dishes to keep an eye on my kids.

I would highly advise against eufy. Trying to get footage longer than a few minutes from their devices is an absolute pain

Am curious why you like Eufy over Wyze. I've been using Wyze and Cam Plus Lite and it's ok but finding something with better person recognition and no subscription would be ideal.

Is the v4 that much of an upgrade over the v3 or the OG

The Wyze app has only gotten worse it seems. There's no video clip recording in the free tier and the subscriptions have gotten more expensive. Playback from SD card is super laggy. I really want to like Wyze, but every time I use their products I get frustrated. I have like 8 various Wyze cameras, 2 doorbells and two locks, most of which are in a bin. The V3 (non moving) can be reflashed to open source Thingino firmware but all the newer cameras are super locked down.
