Pretty good deal, especially if you have Eco Credits on your account. It was going to take another $21 off of the total for me. Doesn't look like discount codes work on this deal.

I have quite a few of both the original bi 220w panels and this newer model. I'll be honest though I haven't used them enough to comment on them but I do have a question for anyone who also has both models—

Of the old and new versions, which one do you find to be "better" and why- and is there any notable difference in power output between them?

Personally, I don't like the metal stands that prop these up. The panel is far too rigid and the stands are way too flimsy. It's hard to even get them to stand up, plus they have to fold up inside the panels which makes me worry about any pressure put on the panel while they're folded up... not sure if it could or would break the photo panels but anyway...

I do like that the newer ones have a smaller footprint when in the bag- more of a square whole the other old ones were rectangles, maybe the new ones are like 30%-40% smaller when folded. But they just feel more flimsy or hard to work with and keep upright and angled proper. Without knowing any significant improvements in efficiency or tech, I think I prefer the older model ones- strictly by form and feel.

Anyone have a differing opinion or want to school me here? I'm open to getting more of these but I would feel better if I knew there was any notable benefit whatsoever between the two.
