If you buy this for your car, do yourself a favor and get this one instead:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/VacLif...5519340321
On sale for only $12.99
It has a much larger compressor inside and you don't have to deal with a failed / dead battery.
Plugs right into your cars 12v cigarette lighter outlet and you're ready to go even after years of storage.
I've been using this thing for over 3 years now... it has always performed well when I needed it.
For $13 bucks... it's a steal.
Cheers!

Imagine telling someone to stay off a site you have zero control over because they didn't follow some rule YOU decided exists.

Alright anyone with real life experience with this thing?
I bought one from a previous deal that looks very similar with the same specs and it works fine so far. I filled the truck tires from 30 to 36psi including spare with a single charge no problem. The trailer tires are 60psi and the thing used a lot more battery and struggled a bit after 40psi. For tires up to 36 psi it's great but if you think this thing is going up 150psi you are smoking crack.

I got this from Amazon way back and it's crap. The plug kept popping out of the cigarette lighter making it completely unreliable- tossed and replaced with a compact model similar to above. It was so bad I didn't even try to re-sell it.

will give it a shot for $15. anybody's guess as to whether the compressor or battery fails first, but I expect it will work for a while.

nice that it can operate on the "cigarette lighter" 12v car plug if the battery is drained (or permanently dead)

Thanks OP! Don't know how reliable this is, but the Amazon ratings are decent and for $15 and it includes a car charger. Great deal.
The only drawback I see with this unit is that the air hose is too short based on the pictures of the reviews. This means if the valve on your tire happens to be at or near the 12 o clock position, then the hose won't reach the ground, which means you have to hold it. If you put it on top of the tire, the vibration will make it fall off.

I already have the 12V one but it's big and yeah cumbersome to move around plugged in. This cordless seems a lot more convenient for kid balls, bikes, etc. I ll bite for $15

I got mine yesterday and tested it in my car, increasing the pressure from 32 psi to 37 psi, and it worked perfectly. I was surprised by how well it performed.

Soooo....you bought this? While your blanket statement on cheap chinese electronics may hold true in some cases, there are many cases where it does not.
I'm referring to the myriad of compact air inflators.. don't even get me started on electronics

Yeah, just tested the code and it's not working so the deal appears dead.

But $15-$20 seems to be the going rate for these devices right now. Seeing several on Walmart in that range with free shipping for Walmart+ members. I haven't searched Amazon but I'm sure you'll find similar. Kinda funny how some drastically "inflate" the regular price to make it seem like you're getting a smoking hot discount (eg, $60 - $100+), while others show the same basic device and price but marked down only from $20-ish.

Here's one for $16.99: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Tire-I...080709600?

Here's another for $17 after clicking a $2.99 coupon code: https://www.walmart.com/ip/VacLif...969167346?

FWIW, I bought one of these little generic Chinese brand portable tire inflators on Amazon a year and half ago for $19.99. I've ended up using it only once so far (forgot I had it until recently) but it worked fine to add 2-5 pounds of pressure to my 4 car tires. It took a bit more than a minute per tire and used up about 1/3 of the battery reserve to do it. But I was pleasantly surprised that it could do even that as I got it primarily for bikes, balls, etc. I recently purchased an ebike and plan to carry it with me on rides in case I get a flat tire.

This product is garbage as are all the other similar chinese branded products sold on Amazon by host of other sellers and typically at the same price point. This isn't a deal and the product is not reliable
News flash, we don't manufacture anything anymore. Everything you own is likely made in China or overseas. I'm not saying you're wrong about build quality, it's roulette for sure, but saying it's bad because it's from China is a pretty dumb blanket statement. Just like here in the States, it completely depends on the company that makes it, we have a lot of trash made here too.

It doesn't have a battery at all, it's powered by your car.

I think it has to be short because of physics. They aren't powerful pumps, so the hose has to be short to compensate, otherwise it wouldn't work. The more powerful the pump, the longer the hose can be. That's why all the small ones have short hoses afaik. The longer the hose, the greater the air resistance.

for $15 i'll keep it but as others have mentioned, this is going to struggle on car tires. took about 7 minutes to get a tire from 20psi to 33psi (basic 4 door sedan). claims in the description of topping a car tire from 25psi to 36psi in 1 minute are extremely exaggerated. unless the car is a power wheels toy.

and high pressure mode surely strains the battery, which is likely low quality to start with. don't push this thing too hard if you want some longevity. avoid deep discharges on the battery (ideally stop at 1/3 bars, let it cool, and recharge)
