This is an okay deal. For $400 more you get a newer CPU (9800X3D), better GPU (5070 TI), newer motherboard (B850 instead of B650), better RAM (6000Mhz instead of 5200Mhz) and a 2TB SSD. It sells out very fast whenever it gets restocked.

edit: This was $1199 before on Slickdeals which was slicker. Not sure if they will drop the price again by/for Black Friday. With consumer discretionary spending down each quarter I suspect vendors will have to price drop like CyberpowerPC/IBuyPower to move units due to inventory glut.

$1199 deal from September (same model): https://slickdeals.net/f/18628537-ibuypower-element-pro-gaming-pc-desktop-amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5070-12gb-32gb-ddr5-rgb-ram-1tb-nvme-ssd-1199-99

Thought this might be a step up from my 7800 XT, but not really.

If you are gonna play in 4K definitely worth the upgrade. Unless you are really short on money, this one should be the ideal set up.

Agreed. This is still a decent deal especially if you can't stretch your budget more not to mention how fast the other one sells out even if they restock it daily (low unit count probably).

That's a very small increment. You'd see such a small difference between the 7800XT and the 5070.

For $1,300 can they not use slow ram?

I get what you're saying but 1. $1300 for an X3D CPU with a 5070 is pretty cheap and the difference in ram speeds is nothing you'll notice in real life.

This is a really solid deal for someone that doesn't know how to build a PC and isn't buying all their parts on sale. The breakdown of this would cost you more to build on your own.

I jumped on this one even for the extra $100. I have been looking at 2-3 machines and they have all gone oos so I did not want to miss this.

Even at $1300 this is one of the cheapest 5070's but has a great cpu and not an 14th gen i5 like a lot of the other cheap 5070.

I got in on the original deal and I am happy with it. One of the fans was incorrectly connected which was an easy fix and I put an additional 2TB SSD.

I think its the best bang for the buck at the moment. I got in on the $1199 price and I'm happy with the computer. One of the fans wasn't working out the box but was an easy fix. Connector was one pin over. I added an additional 2TB SSD
