I bought one of these on this same sale from Adorama months ago...super nice deal as it retails for over three hundred. But now that flash has a loose screw inside (no drops). Makes me question how close Flashpoint and Godox hardware really is. I'll probably bite the bullet and grab another, since the first one's going in to Flashpoint for warranty repair/replacement -- it's been under a year.

wedding photographer here. i have several of these round headed flashes from godox/flashpoint as well as some of the rectangular heads (v860s i think). One major drawback is the durability. One of the round headed flashes lasted just three months before dying, and another one failed at 11 months into use. The rectangular v860s are still going pretty strong for after three years, even though the build quality on them are so-so. This is still the lowest $ on this specific flash though.

I bought a Flashpoint Zoom Li-on X R2 (Godox V1) for my Canon in 2020 and the unit is still going strong with no issues.
Definitely going to buy the V1 Pro with this discount.
Picked up one. I have the V480S and X3S, am thinking of getting the X3C so that I can use my Canon with these flashes, or an alternative, could I use the iT30 Pro C instead of an X3C???
Yes I shoot Sony, primarily.

The price is back up to $279, but it includes 3 items: Flashpoint AK-R1 Accessory Kit for Round Flash Head, Glow PS-B28K ParaSnap Octagonal Softbox (28"), and Glow ParaPop OTA-C Softbox Adapter for On-Camera Roundhead Speedlights and XPLOR100 Pros. The first two are definitely useful for me, so perhaps the loss of a discount makes it up!

I'm hoping the $900 deal for the Flashpoint XPLOR Power 1200 Pro comes back. I'd rather put the $184 towards that beast of a flash instead.
