On the Creality blog [creality.com] there are two still active discount codes available for Piocreat resin and the Halot X1 Combo resin 3D printer.
The Piocreat Halot X1 combo [creality.com] includes the printer, the AFU (Auto Feed Unit) plus 5 x 1kg bottles of resin. The price is $538.99 when you use the code MKE16X, and shipping is free.

For those who already have a resin 3D printer, there is also Piocreat Water-Washable Resin 2.0 available, 5 x 1 kg [creality.com] bottles for $49.99 with the code WRESIN5KG Shipping is $3.99, and it ships free if the total order is over $99. It's available in white, black, gray, and clear, and works with all 405 nm resin printers.

I own the Halot X1 (without the AFU) and have been using it for a while. The most useful thing in my opinion is the quick release build plate design, because you don't have to scrape prints off with a spatula anymore.
The printer has a 16K mono LCD screen and requires no leveling with the fixed build plate setup, which makes it a bit more beginner friendly. It also has a 92-zone adaptive exposure system that adjusts curing strength across the screen to improve print accuracy and reduce failed prints. The autofeed unit can automatically refill resin during long jobs and includes heating to keep resin at the right temperature for consistent flow and curing.

Specs:
  • Build volume: 211.68 x 118.37 x 200 mm (about 8.3 x 4.7 x 7.9 in)
  • Printer size: 344 x 331 x 434 mm (about 13.5 x 13 x 17.1 in)
  • Pixel size: 14 x 19 microns
  • Resolution: 16K (15120 x 6230 px)
  • Layer height: 0.01-0.2 mm
  • Print speed: up to 170 mm/h
  • Z-axis accuracy: 0.01 mm
  • Touchscreen: 3.98-inch display
  • Connectivity: USB and Wi-Fi
  • Software: HALOT BOX or Chitu Box

I have had one of these since april, and it is been a rock solid printer for me, I've been resin printing for 4 years, and the build plate is the most ingenious thing that I have seen on a printer. I have not used their water washable resin, but their standard resin as well as their 16k resin are both very good at holding detail.

This is resin, not FDM.

Yes, generally for post processing resin prints need to be washed and cured. If you're using water washable resin, you don't necessarily need a wash station. Standard resin requires isopropanol for washing. There are also DIY ways, the wash & cure stations are just supposed to be more convenient. I would recommend washing in two stages: first, wash roughly to remove most of the excess resin, and then use a second container in which the isopropanol remains largely clean. This way the isopropanol can be used for much longer and there's less residue left on the prints after all as well. I personally prefer using an ultrasonic cleaner for washing.
Post curing the print can be done in the sun or with UV nail polish dryers or other DIY 405 nm LED setups as well.
(This kind of printer is called mSLA (SLA can also include the resin printers that use a laser, m for matrix refers to the ones using an LCD, like this one, or DLP), while FDM is fused deposition modeling, which is extruding the plastic like the common filament printers.)
