Best deal I can find right now so I ordered it. I should get 4% cash back from Capital1.

Since I am part time with my employer I do not have a company email address. LG Partner store would not accept my personal email address. I tried it over a dozen times and for some reason it finally accepted and I was able to register and complete the ordering process. Your mileage will definitely vary.

I can see the deal with my work email, but does anybody think it might drop even lower on BF?

I'm tempted to jump this deal, but I don't want to deal with returning this if a better deal shows up.

How is this for general productivity and/or photo and video editing? Have had my eyes on the Dell one with Thunderbolt hub, but this seems like a good deal.

Also, anyone know if Apple fixed the issue with the M4 chipset doing 5K2K? All I find online are a bunch of complaints about it from late 2024, but no follow-ups.

Curious about this too. Would use with a MacBook Air M2 & M1 Mac Sudio Ultra for software dev and Logic Pro, primarily.

I love it for productivity. It's a bit too curvy in the beginning. Working with CAD or other programs with straight lines like spreadsheets look wonky sometimes.
For gaming the resolution is tough on the GPU performance requirements, my 4090 struggles in bf6 unless it's being upscaled... So keep that in mind. it looks gorgeous

I just noticed the "Black Friday Price" tag on the website, so LG probably won't go lower, but I wonder if Amazon or another retailer will. I saw the blurb where they talk about the price match on the partner store. The historically lowest price I've seen for this was $1,297 on LG, which was not that long ago, so maybe they will go a bit lower.

But how does it work if another promo code drops the price, would they honor that?

Amazing monitor. Playing battlefield 6 on it in HDR and native resolution with a 5090 is like a fever dream I never want to wake up from. The ABSOLUTE BEST.

Btw don't let the curve scare you. It is a delight and very apt design for immersive gaming.

I bought at release for 1700 or so and was totally worth it even at that premium price.

I use it with a Mac mini at full 5k resolution and 165hz with no issues.

How about day to day work with bunch of MS Office apps such Excel / ppt, zoom etc, do you use for that ? Does the curve bother ?

Im giving ya'll a warning. The curvature is too much for productivity. I bought it and returned it within a week. If you want a 5k2k for productivity, there is a new model from the ultrafine line up that has thunder bolt 5 and support up to 120hz

Great to know. Do you happen to have a model number or link?
