the law was specifically changed a year or 2 ago to remove the solar requirement. it used to require that, but no longer. Also if I buy a toaster, I install it by plugging it in! A reasonable, and defensible interpretation of "installation" is hooking something up in a way such that it can be used in the way it was designed to be used.

Yes, I just purchased one of these and I was shocked to see that I got the free solar panel too. It's $299 and when you go to check out there's a $299 promotional credit app applied.
The 200w panel is back in stock so at least for now this deal is back.
this is an INSANE deal. I've been waiting for years for the right deal on a power station and this combined with the federal tax credit and 200w solar panel is an incredibly slick deal!!
I've been watching deals on these for a while and it seems like this is something to jump on even with Black Friday around the corner. Do y'all agree? With tax credit it puts it near pricing on the 2kwh sizes, plus the free solar panel.
Mainly looking to be able to power a fridge and portable space heater during power outages rather than a full generator.

That 200W panel will take forever to charge this pack right? It would be a good system to put in a shed with no direct power connection to the main. The 200W should be plenty to keep it topped off. The 3000w capacity would be plenty to run anything in tbe shed.

For a 3600W battery, the calculation would be: Charging Time = 3600Wh / 200W = 18 hours.
