Walmart delivery uses a separate delivery service called spark. Which they also own. Which makes it easy for them to use "immigrant" labor and greatly reduce the wages of the drivers. There is no hourly rate. You get paid per delivery bid.

Most of the items I order from Walmart are available via same day shipping OR delivery. Same day shipping also gets delivered by some person in their personal car just like delivery, but no tip is asked for on shipping. Unless I absolutely need it now and same-day shipping is not an option is the only time I use delivery + tip.

Also, there is no order minimum with same-day shipping so I can buy something for $5 and the final cost is $5.

Worked but I had hoped to stack the AARP $40 off offer but never got the chance. I was logged into my Walmart account so when I hit the offer it immediately charged my CC on file. Oh well, I wanted it for the Paramount + anyway so still ahead of the game

I think its a no-brainer now that they include Paramount or Peacock, which non-discounted price is $8 a month, which more than pays for Walmart+ with this discount, and you want or already have Paramount or Peacock. You can also switch which one you want included every 90 days.

My membership coming to expire next month, I chatted with membership team and told her that I will not renew unless I get the discounted 50% off price. She extended my membership for 6 more months free ! I do use Walmart a lot and it helped me to save some $$. I will recommend every current member to go to customer care chat and negotiate.

I canceled my free trial the other day. Just had the $49 offer pop up this AM in the manage my account page. I reactivated. Came over to SD to see if this meant that the awaited twice/year $49 was up for new members too. Glad that it is and that those that recently canceled their free trial can reactivate at $49 as well!

As far as the quality of Walmart online, I have used them for a few years buying things over $35 and am amazed at how quickly I get shipped items delivered to me up here near Yosemite. I am way too far from a store to shop brick and mortar, so this is very handy. I can order something on a weekend and get it Monday! They use On-Trac and FedEx. I have Prime and delivery speed has slowed down over the years. I also have Costco and wish they were like Walmart and didn't charge members more for most online purchases.
