Walmart delivery uses a separate delivery service called spark. Which they also own. Which makes it easy for them to use "immigrant" labor and greatly reduce the wages of the drivers. There is no hourly rate. You get paid per delivery bid.

Most of the items I order from Walmart are available via same day shipping OR delivery. Same day shipping also gets delivered by some person in their personal car just like delivery, but no tip is asked for on shipping. Unless I absolutely need it now and same-day shipping is not an option is the only time I use delivery + tip.

Also, there is no order minimum with same-day shipping so I can buy something for $5 and the final cost is $5.

Can you accept the offer and then turn off auto renewal? If so, how please?

When I would check my account, it would show: "Walmart+ Plan - Annual $49.00(special offer)"
But when I clicked to renew, it wanted to charge me $98. Evidently, the $49 was just to show what I was charged last time. They said there was a special deal going, but it had expired.
It was the same for me. I cancelled my membership just before it expired last week. I was able to see the $49 offer on my account today.

I cancelled W+ about 20 days ago hoping to get a renewal offer. They did not give me one when I canceled but today I saw this offer pop up on my FB account.

I assume it's targeted but hopefully works for some others Smilie

I canceled then re-join link popped up for 49 plus tax. I went for it. I do like the occasional BK and Paramount+ from this.

Do you get $5 off each week with the regular W+ membership? Walmart gave me a free W+ membership for a couple of months that came with $5 off each week. That discount alone would more than offset the membership cost as I shop there almost every week.

I am a current monthly subscriber and was able to upgrade at the 50% off. I did notice I could not do it through the App but only through the website.

I just canceled my half price membership from this time last year, which was due to renew tomorrow. Will I be able to buy it half price under this deal again once my current subscription period is over? Since I'll no longer be an "existing" member?

Assuming everyone else will experience the same that I did...cancel your membership through the app. Membership will remain active through the period you paid for. I canceled a few days before I was set to auto-renew but presumably it would have worked if I did it months ago too.

Can I wait till Dec 1st to claim this or is there a track record of offers ending sooner than published/marketed for Walmart?

No need to project on me, pumpkin. How about you interact with your daughter instead of bragging about your "high level" math skills on here.

Check your account. I canceled less than two weeks ago, and got the deal, today.

I believe it is a mix depending on location of store. In either case, a corporation pays the employee a hourly wage and then per delivery. If they are willing to get paid based only per delivery, that is their problem. It is not our responsibility to pay their wage. No need to tip.
