This Dell 31.5 inch 4K 120 hertz VA monitor stands out for sharp text, strong contrast, and solid value for a large desktop display. The 4K panel is praised for direct viewing in a light controlled room, and the anti glare finish is reported to work well in a bright office. It also supports 4K at 120 hertz, though 1440p at 120 hertz was not available in Windows 11 and there is no USB hub. VA off angle behavior and Dell support are the main cautions, especially for anyone who prefers IPS or sits off center.
Gamers and general-use buyers who sit centered, because the VA panel is praised for deep blacks and solid gaming performance.
The VA panel is favored by some for deeper blacks and avoiding IPS glow and bleed, while IPS is preferred for direct viewing and text. If you sit centered and want black levels that look truly black, VA can be the better fit; if you prioritize off-angle consistency and text clarity, IPS may be preferable.
It is reported to be good for direct viewing in a light-controlled room, and 4K Windows scaling can make text look very crisp and reduce eye fatigue. For text-heavy use, 150% to 175% scaling is a practical sweet spot; 100% scaling at 4K can make UI elements smaller and harder to click accurately.
It is described as one of the best options at this price, with multiple buyers saying there are not many better choices for the money. The 27-inch IPS equivalent is also called extremely good for the price, which suggests the line is competitive across sizes.
Dell's 32-inch VA models are reported to have held up well for several years with no problems, and the warranty was described as very good. One caveat is that prior Dell curved monitors were said to have problems and poor support, so experience may depend on the specific model.
Started wearing reading glasses and that's crept up on me real fast. But reason I mention this... Reading glasses don't do well with curved monitors I've found.
So I'm tempted to hit up a flat screen again. Has me looking at this. Price kinda has me looking away and back again. Not sure.

I'm debating as well. Check Amex offers too, I have $100 off $500 which would put me at $500 (inc tax) for 2 of these
Edit: Also 4% back on Dell Monitors on Raku. Think I'm in, just debating between 2 IPS 27s for $400 vs 2 VA 32s for $505
Does this mean that it's okay for for business use?
the age old debate. personal preference. i prefer VA. after years of playing panel lottery with countless monitors for different uses IPS tend to have glow and bleed which i find to be more annoying and intrusive than any issues i experience with VA (on average) . i also like my blacks to actually look black.

Curved monitors should be preferred if you have an prescription immediate glass (between reading and distance). I measure the distance from my eyes to my monitors and then asks the optometrist to give me prescription glass at that distance. I have 3 4K flats but so the setup is a curve configuration equal distant to my eyes. See if this method works better for you.
I have this monitor and it's good for direct viewing in a light controlled room. I haven't figured out why I cant do 1440p in 120hz in Windows 11, it will do 4k at 120hz. No USB hub if it matters

The 27" equiv is IPS and extremely good for the price. Typing this from an array of 3 of them as we speak, thinking about adding 3 more above these$229 on Amazonhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F1GF1...title&th=1
2nd that! Added a pair of these last month and for the price, don't think there are many better options. Did a lot of research and one of the best options for the price.
