Samsung's Galaxy Tab A9 Plus is a solid 11 inch tablet for streaming, web browsing, YouTube, Roblox, and kid use. The screen is described as decent for the price, and Samsung Kids Mode with password protected app control makes it appealing for families. Bloatware can usually be removed or disabled, especially after cleanup or debloating. The main drawback is the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration, which can lag, struggle with app switching, and feel too limited for games or heavier use. Charging port reliability and slow charging are also recurring concerns, making it a better fit for basic tasks than demanding ones.
Common Questions (5)
The 64GB model has 4GB RAM, which can lag when switching apps, swiping notifications, or after OS updates. It is fine for streaming, web browsing, email, YouTube, and basic kid use, but the 8GB/128GB version runs much smoother for games and heavier multitasking.
Charging can be slow, with one report saying it needs several hours to fully charge. There are also reports of USB-C charging ports failing on some units, including two tablets with dead ports, so the charging hardware is a practical concern.
The 8GB/128GB model is the better buy if you can wait, because it runs smoother and avoids the 4GB RAM bottleneck. The 64GB version is viewed as acceptable only for light use, while the larger model is repeatedly recommended as the better value.
Most Samsung preinstalled apps can be uninstalled or disabled, and a debloat tool like Universal Android Debloater or ADB can remove more. Some apps may still resist deletion without ADB/root, so cleanup is possible but not always one-click simple.
It works well for younger kids, especially for YouTube, Roblox, streaming, and basic apps, and Samsung Kids Mode can password-protect which apps appear. Adding a microSD card and a protective kids case helps make it more practical for children.

I'm calling you out... COMPLETELY. So so so NOT TRUE.
I would like the specific models and what went wrong for each of your tablets... I just don't believe you at ALL.
SO... Tablets are typically made with aluminum bodies and NEVER STEEL. Please let me know of one tablet that has a steel body.
Hauwai is equal to Apple regarding QUALITY... but you have them on the your list as being bad when in fact THEY ARE THE BEST!
If your tablet BENDS... I think the user is at fault (SHAKING MY HEAD at anyone that would blaime the tablet) ...
Again, I would like to know the make and MODEL of each tablet that you broke. Cause ALL OF MINE STILL WORK...
WOW... where do I start..... I guess with my
Hauwai M3 or my Hauwai M5 or my Alldocube Iplay60 mini OR MY Alldocube Iplay60 mini turbo or my Lincplus T3... and I haved a few that are like 10+ years old, I even have one that is about 15 years old.... AND THEY ALL WORK. Many of them have cracked screens... BUT STILL WORKING and any cracked screens were MY FAULT. I will also say I usually by a drop proof cases and I feel the build quality on these tablets are AMAZING and every one of my tablets have taken a fall and lived.
And my M3 and M5 still work AMAZING... but I have not used for many years. But those screens were the best when those tablets came out and still look Amazing.
MY 3 devices that failed where you plug it in....
My Dell laptop (3rd gen intel), I needed to buy 3 different power cables over it's life (still using) and I will blame Dell... and My Pixel 8 Pro I have a diffuclty with my USB C connection but I think it is due to my drop proof case and the aftermarket cables that I use, my issues was that I need to hard wire it when I was in the car for Android Auto, but I just purchased a dongle for wireless android auto... again, I am not blaming google. AND I had to send my Tab S8+ to Samsung cause it only charged at 10watts no matter what... they ended up giving me a refurbished tablet with double the harddrive space (THREE MONTHS LATER!!!!) and I sold that one and purchased my Tab S9. I could write a few paragraphs about how bad the Samsung customer service was, everything was an argument with Samsung... they actually wanted to give me a $700 credit when the tablet at their website cost $900... after 4 weeks of saying NO, they finally admitted that they only have refurbished double the hard drive space tablets to send to customers at that moment in time and they finally gave me one after TWO MONTHS OF COMPLAINING (this is your beautiful Samsung company for you). Ended up giving my Tab S9 to my kid and I purchased the ZTE Redmagic Astro Gaming Tablet which I think is the best tablet in the world when it came out (two months ago)... since then Hauwai may have a better one.
The Metro Samsung A9+ 5G tablet deal for $20 is available now.
I've been waiting for this one... I have a army of people on stand by... we are ten thousand strong and we buy ten thousand and we resell them on Fleabay and make $50 profit on each one...
THAT IS 10,000 x 50 = $500,000.00
So in ONE DAYS OF WORK, you make $500,000.00. Please buy my book, "how to become a millionaire using slickdeals.net"
This is the case I like... https://www.aliexpress.
I will also say, all my tablets have been broken as well by my kid. Including... Samsung, Lenovo, Chines tablets, etc.. .
I will say my favorite case is the one you got for the Samsung Tablet and that is the identical one that my kid uses with the Tab S9. My kid did not like the size of the iplay mini... but still managed to break the glass. I never found a proper case with the Lincplus T3 and of course it broke.
She has been using my old Tab S9 for the last 8 months... with the bullet proof case and a glass screen saver. I went to the iplay mini 60 turbo for about 7 months and the last two months I have been using my ZTE Redmagic Astra Gaming Tablet (9.06"). And l keep the iplay mini 60 turbo as a spare. My kid is now 12 and takes care of the electronics much better. I even got a laptop for my kid... 8845HS last year when prices were a lot less... lol.
Last thing I will say... is Samsung just got caught that they have installed spyware within the OS so you can never delete it.
As for the kids I've tried Amazon Fire Tabs, and a ton of the chinese ones. They all break. I put them all in "kid cases" every time. Not every tablet had a exact match for a kids case so I would find a size that matches and cut holes out where needed. The only times screens cracked is when my kids took them out of the cases and dropped them. Which did happen a few times. Those breaks I don't blame the tablets but the kids. The other issues though were very prevalent. The USB-C solder breaking and then not being able to charge was a common issue. The Alldocube bodies bending even in cases was absurd. Admittedly not every Chinese tablet had that problem. I only experienced body bending with the Alldocube and a TCL tablets. The rest though all broke on the charging port every time. I have tried a good portion of these Chinese made sub $100 G99 tablets (couple of Unisoc ones too) for the kids over the last 7-8 years. Far too much. I was hoping to get much better specs and build quality tablets in the last few years but they seem to have all stagnated completely.
