Have had these for a few months and there are some minor issues even if you get a good pair (creaking in the headband), but they sound incredible and the NC is as always legit.... wouldn't recommend these to work out in, but for most other uses they are incredible.

Not really comparable. Haven't heard of a pair of Beats that can hold up to these.

There's a gen 2 that just came out. Bose still sells both on their website. Gen 2 has minor improvements but is over $100 more. Hoping for a good deal on gen 2 soon.

For those wondering the biggest difference between Gen 1 and 2 is ANC is always on (can't be turned off) in Gen 1.
