This is a great watch, I've had it since it was released. Something to note though, I don't think it is getting any more software updates.

I have this watch and the BIP6 and Active 2. The Balance is an older watch. It is good but for this price I'd get an Active 2, Active 2 premium or Active 2 square. They have newer updated sensors and updated OS with updated features and maps. The Balance will probably not get any more updates, where the Active 2 series is still getting software updates.

If you want to spend more, get a Balance 2 XT for $199. If you don't need good water resistance or altitude, then you could get a BIP 6.

All of these have more updated software than the Balance.
