This Cosco 3 in 1 folding hand truck stands out as a versatile mover for heavy loads, with flat free wheels and a design that works as a hand truck, cart, and platform cart. It is praised for handling real jobs like a 700 pound safe and 1,000 pounds of salt, while still rolling smoothly and feeling well made with aluminum and solid hardware. The main caution is price, since the usual Costco and Amazon pricing is far below the inflated reference price in the thread, and this version is not the same as Costco's 4 in 1 model. A practical heavy duty helper if you want the convertible design.
Costco/BJ's shoppers who want a versatile folding hand truck/cart for everyday moving because multiple commenters bought the Costco version around $100-$120 and said it's very useful, one of the best tools they've bought, and works great for their uses.
homeowners hauling heavy items like a ~700 lb safe or lots of bags (around 1000 lb) because commenters say it's super solid and made those moves much easier, with wheels that roll well.
people who are tired of heavy dollies that leave tire marks and require manual folding/unfolding because one commenter said their previous dolly was too heavy, left tire marks everywhere, and this exact model was what they needed.
buyers who will use it carefully for big loads because commenters note it's not "rock solid," but they've used similar models with hundreds of pounds and found it extremely useful when you don't abuse it.
buyers expecting the exact same Costco product as other listings because one commenter warned it's not the same as Costco's version (3-in-1 vs 4-in-1).
buyers who need a very specific replacement part quickly because a commenter described a complicated Wayfair/vendor replacement process for a defective canopy that required multiple steps and back-and-forth.
Wayfair customer service reportedly required multiple steps for a defective canopy replacement, including receiving fabric instead of the full frame assembly.
No. This thread's item is the 3-in-1 version, while Costco's related model is the 4-in-1 and a different configuration. Costco also sold a similar model years ago before the 45-degree tilting version.
The regular Amazon price is reported around $180-$230, while Costco pricing is typically about $100-$120. A prior Costco deal hit about $100, and this $93 offer is slightly below that.
Yes. It has been used successfully with hundreds of pounds, including a 700 lb safe and about 1,000 lbs of salt, and it is described as very useful when used properly. It is not rock solid, so it should not be abused.
It is described as one of the best tools bought, especially for versatile moving tasks. Users say it rolls well, folds easily, avoids tire marks, and is much more convenient than heavier manual dollies.
Wayfair customer service is described as poor, with one detailed replacement case requiring multiple contacts and a workaround through the vendor. That makes the price attractive, but buying from Costco is preferred by some shoppers.

No way $230 is the regular price. They're $100 - $120 at Costco
Normal Amazon price is $180-230.
This hit the Frontpage of Slickdeals for $100 in July at Costco and this is $7 less than that. Also, that thread says the in-store price is $160 at that time. https://slickdeals.net/f/18417685
Costco used to sell this model about 3 years ago before the one that tilts 45 degrees. Anyway I have a couple and have used them with hundreds of pounds and while they're not rock solid, they have been extremely useful if you use them well but don't outright abuse them.
Sold my dolley to someone in need a few months ago but I secretly hated it anyway. Left tire marks everywhere, too heavy, manual folding and unfolding. And I had $27 in wayfaor reward dollars to burn too.
