Baseus Bass BP1 earbuds stand out for strong bass, low latency, and solid sound for about $20, with multipoint support that keeps two devices connected at once. The fit can be hit or miss, since the tips may fall out or feel too tight, and full functionality depends on an app that asks for broad permissions and registration. Battery life also drew a failure report after several months. A compact budget pick if bass and dual device use matter most.
Multipoint Bluetooth lets the earbuds connect to two devices simultaneously for easier switching.
The earbuds deliver strong bass performance for the price point.
Low latency helps the earbuds work well for TV video and phone calls.
The earbuds can be used for sleep listening without worrying about losing AirPods.
Full functionality requires an app that requests many unnecessary permissions, which may raise privacy concerns.
The ear fit can be inconsistent, with tips either falling out or becoming too tight after minutes.
Battery performance can be unreliable, with reports of the battery dying after several months.
The earbuds may require registration even though it can reportedly be skipped.
