This must be the old version, they made some slight upgrades or revisions to it, I think the newer 1.1 model can do lossless audio via USBC?

And some other minor tweak.

I also had bad luck i guess with open box. Got a shokz mini open run pro 2 in excellent condition. Worked fine for a week or two and died when trying to charge it. Luckily comes with warranty from shokz so they sent me another, not sure if new or another open box. Out of town now when it arrived like 2 weeks after i submitted a claim

very dependent on situation. Some open box is brand new, whereas others is beat to hell

I will agree there are some gems in the rough, but Best Buy really needs to improve their product grading. Some "Excellent" condition is very heavily used and other "Fair" Condition is brand new

I had a similar bad experience as well. Wrong item was sent . Since it was ordered online , no store would take it back. Had to ship it back and then wait 7 days for refund.
