I think I will pass. Reviews stated a lot of annoy software issues. Like slow to turn on and shut off. Annoying pixel refresh message. Goes to sleep even when user is active. I have similar issues with my LG oled tv.

You were down voted but I tend to agree. I used to work with webos before it was sold to LG and am fond of it but not LGs implementation. I much prefer LG woled panels though

Why do all these nice monitors have issues. I bought the Samsung oled g9. Gorgeous monitor but same issues you mention, it will turn off in the middle of use, or won't recognize my macbook is
Even when connected, slow software, annoying popups, etc.

That's what I was referring to. Maybe I don't completely understand how those price graphs work.

I tried the LG ultragear and had to return it after just 4 days. I use it with multiple PCs and keep receiving the message "HDMI external port connected. Want to switch?" every 10-15 minutes, even when gaming or presenting. Called support, apparently no way to disable it (you can disable the message on the TVs but not on the monitors). Complete deal breaker.

About a month ago, I bought it on LG Partner Store. Excited, received, installed, and immediately returned because the 800R curvature is too much. I need to replace my old ultrawide working monitor for work but this "gaming" monitor works well if you're gaming and want immersion. For work, no chance. I ended up buying the 40" 5k2k with thunderbolt 5 in the ultrafine lineup, and I'm happy since. Im warning ya'll

So far lowest prices I spotted are 1215 (1350-%10 Code) on LG Partner Store for those who have access but LG excluded this model from code after then and 1297 on Amazon (3rd party known seller) but very briefly.
